Connect a browser wallet on Midas Chain testnet. Take MockXAU, test gold that is not gold, then mint XAUMD by the gram and redeem it. Test USDMD also redeems into MockXAU, so the two loops meet. None of these tokens has value.
Testnet only
Test XAUMD is backed by MockXAU, a test token with no value, so it has none either. One XAUMD is one gram; one MockXAU is one troy ounce, 31.1034768 grams. The mainnet XAUMD, with bars behind it, is planned for Phase 2.

1. Take test gold
MockXAU gives 0.05 oz a day to each address, about 1.555 grams. It is not gold. Test USDMD redeems into MockXAU too, on the USDMD get page.
2. Mint XAUMD with MockXAU
Type the grams you want. The reserve says what gold they take, rounded up by at most one unit; approve it for that, then mint. Max asks the reserve the most your MockXAU can mint. No fee. Every XAUMD exists only after its gold is in the reserve.
3. Redeem XAUMD for MockXAU
Approve the reserve to take your XAUMD, then redeem. You receive its gold back, rounded down by at most one unit. Redemption is never paused, has no fee and no cap.
4. Show XAUMD in your wallet
Adds the token address to your wallet's list, so the balance is shown.
