Testnet

Testnet. MockXAU is not gold and test MDLR has no value.

What that means

MDLR feesEN

What MDLR costs to mint, redeem and hold.

Fees are set in the controller and can change only through the public timelock. The figures below are read live from the chain.

ItemFeeHow it works
Mint0.10%Taken from the value of the gold delivered. Minted to the treasury, so every MDLR, fee included, is covered by collateral.
Redeem0.10%Taken from the MDLR returned. The rest is burned and paid out in the reserve asset at the oracle price, at par while the reserve covers supply. Below 1.00, each redemption is paid its pro rata share, the amount after the fee times the ratio.
HaircutPAXG 0.00%, XAU-MOCK 0.00%Taken off an asset's value in every valuation, mint included. Set per asset in the collateral registry, through the timelock.
TransferNoneThe token has no transfer fee and cannot acquire one.
HoldingNoneNo custody, management or negative-interest fee. MDLR pays no yield either.
Dispenser and MockXAU dripFreeTestnet only.
Network gasVariesPaid in MIDS to the network, not to the issuer. Testnet MIDS is free from the faucet.

Mint and redeem fees read from the controller's params(). Maximum either fee can be set to: 5.00%.

Limits

Mint cap500,000 MDLRMDLR value that can be minted per 24-hour epoch, across everyone.
Redemption cap25.00%25.00% of supply per 24-hour epoch, and never less than 10,000 MDLR. It exists so a run cannot outpace the gold's settlement.

Where fees go

To the treasury account, which holds no role in the contracts. 0x8e97178fc4d5b180e69AD36C72eaC27582cE6656
